Christabel Braganza-Smith

Criminal Lawyer

Christabel was admitted to the Supreme Court of WA in 2020. Christabel holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Notre Dame and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.

Prior to commencing at Timpano Legal in September 2024, Christabel worked in private law firms and a community legal centre, where she represented clients with minor to complex criminal matters in the Children’s, Magistrates and District Court jurisdictions in Western Australia.

Christabel also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and a Bachelor of Social Work and for a number of years, worked as a Community Corrections Officer for the Department of Justice and a Senior Child Protection Worker for the Department of Communities. Christabel’s experience as a social worker adds depth to her legal practice.

Christabel applies herself to each matter with passion and practicality. She is committed to ensuring her clients feel understood, supported and informed during the entirety of their legal proceedings.
