Yassamin Olson
Criminal Lawyer
Yassamin was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2018, earning recognition as the youngest lawyer to be admitted in the state at that time. These experiences have deepened her commitment to advocating for those whose voices may otherwise go unheard.
Prior to joining Timpano Legal, Yassamin specialised in criminal litigation at the Aboriginal Legal Service of WA, appearing in the Magistrates, Children’s, District and Supreme Court of WA. In addition to her practice, she has taught Criminal Law to Juris Doctor students at the University of Western Australia.
Yassamin approaches her legal practice with genuine care and empathy, recognising the complexities of her clients’ situations. Her fervour for advocacy drives her to achieve the best possible outcomes for her clients, as she stands by their side every step of the way, ensuring they feel supported and understood throughout their legal journey.
