Caley was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in July 2019, after graduating from the University of Western Australia in December 2018 with a Juris Doctor. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours, a Graduate Diploma in Law, Policy and Government, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.
Caley commenced with Timpano Legal in February 2019. Prior to this, she completed her Practical Legal Training under Thomas Percy QC, where she gained valuable experience on a broad range of matters including District Court trials, various sentencing hearings, and appeals to the Court of Appeal. At Timpano Legal, Caley acts for clients facing either summary or indictable matters, ranging from serious assaults, drug offences, and sexual offences, to restraining order and traffic matters. Caley has conducted a number of hearings in the Magistrates Court of Western Australia, including sentencings and bail applications, and regularly briefs counsel on indictable trials, sentencings, and appeals.
In 2021, Caley was listed by Doyle’s Guide as a Rising Star in Criminal Law in Western Australia.
Caley is also a member of the Criminal Lawyers Association of Western Australia.
