Jessikah Niesten
Junior Solicitor
Jessikah is a criminal lawyer, representing clients in all jurisdictions. She was admitted to practice law in 2022 after graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and was twice awarded Membership to the Vice-Chancellor’s List.
Jessikah was the recipient of a Faculty of Business and Law Summer Research Scholarship (2021). She also received the John Curtin Law Clinic Service Excellence Scholarship (2022).
Jessikah has a passion for criminal law and has previously worked for prominent Perth barrister, Tom Percy KC. Together, with Mr Percy KC she has co-authored a number of publications.
In her spare time, Jessikah enjoys keeping active by running, competing in triathlons and going to the gym. After being awarded an Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship she is also currently completing her Doctor of Philosophy (Law) on the rule of law and Taser misuse. Another passion for Jessikah is painting portraits and some of her work is displayed in our office.
