Criminal Lawyer

Johanna was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in December 2019, after completing her Practical legal Training as an Associate to a Judge of the District Court, where she gained valuable experience on a broad range of matters including District Court trials, numerous sentencing hearings and complex directions hearings. Johanna holds a Bachelor of Laws from Murdoch University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.

Prior to commencing at Timpano Legal in March 2022, Johanna worked in a private law firm exclusively practicing in criminal law, where she gained exposure to a variety of criminal matters in the Children’s, Magistrates, District and Supreme Court jurisdictions in Western Australia.

At Timpano Legal, Johanna acts for clients on both summary and indictable matters, from burglary offences and sexual offences, to restraining order matters and traffic offences. Johanna has conducted a number of hearings in the Magistrates Court of Western Australia, including trials, sentencings and bail applications.

Johanna applies herself to each matter with passion and practicality. She is committed to ensuring her clients feel understood, supported and informed during the entirety of their legal proceedings.
